A membership account must not be created on behalf of someone else without their permission. Membership can never be transferred to any other person or entity. Members must promptly inform the Club of any changes in their home or mobile numbers, email address as well as apparent breaches of security, such as loss, theft, or unauthorised disclosure or use of an ID or password. Until the Club is notified of a breach in security, the Member will remain liable for any unauthorised use of the Website.
Membership in this Website may be terminated at any time, and without cause, by either the Club or the Member upon notification of the other by electronic or conventional mail. The Club will not disclose any membership contact details or content to any member who has terminated their membership or had their membership revoked by the Club. When a member requests termination or CARC revokes membership, all personal data and records will be permanently removed; members are liable for charges incurred by them until termination of membership. The Club reserves the right to deny in its sole discretion any user access to the CARC website, specific areas of the website or functionality or features of the Website, via any method it chooses and/or revoke membership without notice at its sole discretion.
Members are responsible for providing all personal computer and communications equipment necessary to gain access to the Website. Access to and use of the Website is through a combination of an ID and a password. Each Member must keep their username and password strictly confidential and only share it with a third party if this third party has permission to assist with the management of their account in some way. Remember your password! For security reasons, the Club will not release passwords or Website content for any reason, except as may be specifically required by law or court order. Unauthorised access to the Service is a breach of this Agreement and a violation of law.
Registration details about a member must be true and never be used to impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a CARC official, forum leader, guide or host, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent an affiliation with a person or entity.
You expressly understand and agree that the Club shall not be liable to you for any direct or indirect use of the CARC website or services, including without limitation any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, alteration of, or use of records, whether for breach of contract, tortuous behaviour, negligence, or under any other cause or action.
You may not copy, replicate, modify, distribute, display, perform, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information, software, products or services obtained from the Website whether printed, visual, audio, radio, electronic, email forwarding, TV, satellite, digital transmission, scanned, website re-cycled or any other form of material except where expressly noted that the material is available for such purpose.
CARC reserves the right to cancel any Membership for any reason, including misuse of the site, any action we feel compromises the security of the site, any action that adversely affects other Members, or any action we feel is detrimental to the Website. If any information provided by a Member is found to be grossly misrepresented, or should the Member's listing(s) or actions be in violation of any law or any provision of this agreement, the Club reserves the right to remove, at its discretion, the Members' listing(s) at any time, and/or to terminate the Member's access to the Website.
CARC reserves the right to remove and ban as a Member, anyone who joins and sends out "spam" or "pirating" emails to other Members. Similarly, anyone who enters falsified personal information to join will be removed. This Website places heavy emphasis upon member privacy and anyone entering falsified personal information will be viewed as an attempted threat to that privacy.
