Changi Airport Recreation Club was set up in 1990 as a club for staff members of the airport community and their families and friends. Located at Terminal 2, the Clubhouse provides recreational facilities and organizes programmes and events. In addition to individual membership, the Club also offers corporate membership to organisations in the aviation community.

Club Executive (Customer Relations & Programmes), Changi Airport Recreation Club


You will be an employee of CARC. As Club Executive for Customer Relationship & Programmes, your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer relations
    • Attend to enquiries via phone, email or at Reception Counter
    • Assist customers with membership transactions, facility bookings, services and payment
  • Reporting maintenance and facilities faults to the relevant parties
  • Opening and closing the Club at the end of the day when on duty
  • Assisting Club Manager to prepare individual and corporate member bookings and revenue collection reports
  • Assisting in planning and organizing programmes and activities to drive revenue and member engagement
  • In addition, you will also be called upon to perform the following Standby Duties:
    Up to one month per year on standby for Jackpot Ops relief duties.

Past experience or training in event management, event facilitation (e.g. emcee) would be advantageous

Requirements:

  • Relevant work experience in customer service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to work shift duties (morning/night shift) including weekends and public holidays

Club Executive (Club Operations/Corporate Services & Programmes), Changi Airport Recreation Club


You will be an employee of CARC. As Club Executive for Club Operations & Programmes, your key responsibilities include:

Club Operations/Facilities & Maintenance

  • Oversee the Club Operations and maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Reporting maintenance and facilities faults to the relevant partie Liaise with contractors, identify and follow-up on faults, plan for repair/system and parts replacement works and to plan for maintenance of equipment in facilities.
  • Obtain quotes and select vendors for maintenance and manage maintenance vendors to ensure that regular and ad-hoc facilities management activities are well-run (air-con, custodial, cleaning, electrical, building repairs, interior repairs, etc).
  • In-charge of Club’s security alarm and monitor CCTV and coordinating with vendor for servicing or installation.
  • Facilitate smooth operations of Café, propose solutions to operations issues to the Club Manager for considerations.
  • In addition, you will also be called upon to perform the following Standby Duties:
    • Up to 2 working days per week on standby for Counter relief duties
    • Up to one month per year on standby for Jackpot Ops relief duties.

Secretariat & Corporate Services

  • Plan for and organise the Club's key meetings (AGM, regular MC meetings)
    • Set calendar of meeting dates in advance
    • Send notice of meeting for MC meeting or Core MC meeting
    • Set up meeting logistics
    • Writing and confirmation of meeting minutes
    • Update the annual return for new committee
    • Update the change of club constitution and By-Law, if request.
  • Plan and organise staff bonding events
  • Maintain all staff entitlement and benefit records, e.g. leave, flexi-band
  • Procurement
  • IT maintenance & contract:
    • Arrange for repairs for system breakdown
    • Propose and seek MC's approval for system/IT equipment replacement when necessary
  • Purchasing/keep stocks for stationery/office equipment/office furniture repair & maintenance, etc.
  • Copier Machine repair & maintenance/contract
  • CARC Website domain contract renewal
  • Revised/update CARC Staff Menu/Staff Benefits, if requested
  • Staff Refresher Training
  • Partner Admin for planning QSM/RTS courses
  • OIC of Club yearly spring cleaning & arrange disposal services
  • Duty officer work (for morning/night shift)
